We found La Haille Gîtes to be very well equipped and clean, in a lovely setting with wonderful views and a peaceful environment. The swimming pool was excellent and the surrounding countryside offered beautiful walking and interesting towns. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for an extra week!

I arrived at La Haille whilst on a motorbike trip through France with a soaked tent from the previous nights camping. I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and offered the use of the caravan on site while my tent was dried out. I stayed for two nights to explore the area and was given brilliant local knowledge which was invaluable. Eliane and Mark could not do enough for me in anyway and the facilities on site made this short stay memorable. Many thanks!

My wife and I had a wonderful weeks stay at La Haille Gîtes in August. We loved the beautiful countryside with distant views of the Pyrénées, even from the pool. The owners had lots of time for their guests and took me out on the marked cycle trails through rolling hills, not too technical, but you needed to have a fair level of fitness. The owners also took us to Luchon for some serious downhilling via the cable car lifts. There was a wide variety of skilled circuits to choose for your descent through beautiful views. The legendary Col du Tourmalet was in the same region below the Pic du Midi observatory, all just over an hours drive away! The accommodation was clean, well equipped and informative.

Beautiful, well-maintained site in a lovely location. Lots of hidden cycling gems in the area, with quiet roads plus plenty of well-marked local mountain bike trails through rolling countryside. Mark and Eliane are great hosts with an infectious enthusiasm for cycling and making sure guests get the most out of the area. Not to be underestimated is their ability (and patience!) to pass this love of cycling on to children - my two always learn something when we ride here.

I stayed with Mark and Eliane for a couple of nights on a trip to Spain. Thoroughly enjoy my time there. It's like a little paradise down there. The pool is excellent and after some time out on the bikes in the heat with Mark it was even sweeter a reward! Lovely hosts that are so obviously in tune with the local area and have great local knowledge and love their bikes, both with and without engines! I'll be back one day for some time on the trails, guys.

We hadden een prachtige vakantie op de zeer verzorgde camping, zeer idyllisch gelegen en de eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hebben ons begeleid op een fantastische fietstocht en ook het mooie dorp in de buurt is een aanrader, toplocatie!

Just a quick note to say thanks for your awesome hospitality last week. There are many people in Iceland who will probably disagree with me when I say that the volcano erupting was a real blessing but I'm sure that we had a far, far better time with you guys then we would've had in Majorca, had we managed to get there. The countryside around you is amazing, the cycling was awesome and the hospitality shown by the two of you was phenomenal. Thank you so much for giving up your time to insure that we enjoyed ourselves so much, particularly for Mark being our back up driver on the day that we did Perysourde, Aspin and Tourmalet. Mark running alongside me as I wound my way up the climb and driving alongside me on the way back down to pass me back my lost water bottle are just two of the moments that made the trip so memorable. Thanks again for everything that you did for us and for giving us such a memorable week. Hope to see you again very soon!

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso! Calma, silenzio, le colline verdi del Gers a perdita d'occhio e perfino qualche cerbiatto che attraversava il prato davanti a noi. Abbiamo trascorso un piace volissimo soggiorno a fine Luglio 2017, nel camping di Eliane e Mark Lowe, coppia di appassionati di bici e moto, che sono stati gentilissimi e molto accoglienti con noi. Ci siamo installati con la nostra tendina e la nostra moto nel vasto prato dedicato al camping, e abbiamo potuto usufruire dei servizi offerti, gratuitamente. Una cucina superattrezzata, un frigo ( in supplemento), un barbecue e....un tavolo da biliardo e freccette per le serate! Senza contare la bella piscina accessibile a tutti gli ospiti del sito (che conta anche dei B & B). Il Camping é un'ottima base di partenza per visitare la regione del Gers (che ricorda la Toscana), Auch, Marciac e il suo festival jazz, etc. etc. Che dire di più ? Quando si é accolti dopo una lunga giornata di moto, con un bel sorriso (e due birre fresche) e con gentilezza, quando si vede che tutto é stato pensato e fatto per fare stare bene i propri ospiti, allora non si puo' fare a meno di avere voglia di tornare in questo bel posto che raccomandiamo a tutti gli amici moto - ciclisti italiani e francesi.

Wat een verrassing toen we bij de berg aankwamen, fantastisch uitzicht, prachtig zwembad en zeer aardige mensen! Het huisje was netjes en de bedden waren goed. In de omgeving kunt u heel goed fietsen en paardrijden. De eigenaren hebben ook een eigen website. Kortom, we hebben genoten en iedereen aanbevelen.

Campeggio immerso nella natura! Top!!! Servizio gentilissimo e familiare…perfettamente pulito ed igienico…un vero posto dove rilassarsi! Consigliato!!!!

Op zoek naar een camping, ergens op de grens Gers/Hautes Pyrénées, zijn wij op deze heerlijke plek terecht gekomen. Het uitzicht is de rede dat wij hier onze tent hebben opgezet. Ledere dag genieten we van het zicht op de heuvels (en bij helder weer de bergen...) zonnebloemen, bomen, koeien en schapen en vooral van het prachtige licht van de avondzon over het land....Heerlijk "pique-nique" end in het gras worden we steeds opnieuw verrast door de mooie natuur, door een hertje of zelfs een das! Een heel fijne plek als je van stilte kunt genieten...Heel bijzonder is ook de sfeer die de bewoners Eliane en Marc uitstralen. Mensen die doen wat ze graag doen en dat is in de eerste plaats mountain biken. Heel blij zijn ze wanneer je samen een vtt tour wilt fietsen! Maar wij minder sportievelingen voelen ons òòk welkom en lopen liever de wandelroutes dier hier direkt aan het grondstuk voorbij lopen. We hebben het erg fijn en blijven nog wat langer....

Nous avons ete acceuillis par Eliane qui nous a presenté ce charmant camping, montré les sanitaires tout a fait propre ainsi que la cuisine commune toute equipee (gaz, frigo, lave-vaisselle, couverts et assiettes) et pour finir les emplacements que l'on pouvait choisir puisque que nous y etions les seuls. Eliane nous a egalement gentiement proposé de delicieux oeufs frais de ses poules qu'elle etait allee ramasser. La vue est tres agreable et l'environnement est serein. Nous avons pu beneficier d'un acces au wifi gratuit. Le lendemain, avant de partir, Mark; le mari d'Eliane a pris sur son temps pour reparer un de nos velos dont le porte bagage etait deffecueux. Notre sejour fut court mais extremement agreable. Nous recommandons LA HAILLE - BIKE CAMPING FRANCE a toutes les personnes desireuses de passer d'agreables vacances; de multitudes d'activites sont possibles la bas: velo, randonnée etc...
